As many of our clients know, our Support team is made up of dedicated, hardworking, and busy Miva Merchant employees. In this department, phones ring, emails are sent, tickets are replied to, and problems are solved. One of these dedicated, hardworking team members is this week’s Employee Spotlight, Stacey Atkins.
For almost a year now, Stacey has been part of the Miva Merchant Support department, helping online merchants diagnose and solve problems, learn more about the inner-workings of their ecommerce stores, and find the answers to their questions.
When asked what the best part about working for Miva Merchant, Stacey says, “Since I’m in Support, the best part of the day is when the email comes from the customer saying that all is well once again. Also, there is our entire Miva Merchant staff and how we all work together to take care of business.”
During the past year, Stacey has had the opportunity to draw from, and expand on her background in web design and development. In her free time, she enjoys playing computer games, knitting, reading, and learning to speak German.
“I come in to work and try to just be a sponge. There’s always a lot to learn in any industry,” she says. “Working for this company and seeing the different merchants that use our software have inspired me to continue learning what I can when and wherever I can.”
