Espotting.com join DoubleClick's 'Search Network'

Espotting.com, the UK's answer to search, has announced the appointment of DoubleClick, the first and leading advertising Network on the Internet, to supervise the sale of banner ads on their search results list.

DoubleClick's 'Search Network' caters for search engines such as QXL and Infoseek, and Websites that contribute keyword search inventory to a common pool. Espotting's inclusion will serve to strengthen the Search Network even further.

Espotting.com is the new online advertising medium. Espotting's search results are determined by advertisers bidding - in an online, real-time auction - on keywords that are relevant to their site. The higher an advertiser bids, the higher they will be listed. Since launch on September 13th 2000 Espotting has already reached the one million page impressions mark and currently has search terms being bid upon by advertisers such as Amazon.co.uk, FT.com, peoplesound.com and Lloyds TSB.
