Subtle changes in the Suivant ReadyTheme Related Items carousel javascript

First of all, I'm "assuming" this is a javascript change since I don't see it in the template code. When I look at the code using a developer tool, I'm seeing aria-live="polite" - curious minds would like to know what this does and where is the scripts.js file change that appears to be needed?

On another post I suggested that a sticky be created for each ReadyTheme that has a link to the updates / code changes for that specific ReadyTheme.

Upon further digging, it looks like perhaps the jquery.slick.min.js has been updated? Can I just upload / overwrite the current file with what appears to be the new file?

Yes, that is an update to the Slick Slider. You can just overwrite your existing file.
