Not sure if this is possible or if by some wizardry already is, yet thought it would be practical. The ability to mark items out of stock, (mention on page) that is set to be removed by a future date automatically.
A simple calendar perhaps within admin, that on a certain date you can mark status "out of stock" which is visible on product page, then set a return date which would auto pull that message off product page. Reason this came up today, we have items come in and out of stock always, days to months worth and it is hard to remember across 1,000's of products when they are scheduled to return as we know the availability dates that day. This feature would make this a simple situation one of which wouldn't require keeping track of every date and missing some. Thanks for reading.
