Need CMS system for a golf club

Wordpress is already considered and might graduate to last resort. LiveSite seems to have the functions I need and is being evaluated; but wouldn't mind opinions if you have them.

This can't be a mivascript solution unfortunately.

I have looked a few others but really need some capabilities that a good number don't have.

    -membership/group/contact list functionality
-blogger like in that board members need to be able to post content without admin access, text and PDFs for example.
    -emailing upon announcement/event notification
    -newsletter would be a bonus
-need to be able to add responsive, Bootstrap preferred...
-calendar/scheduling to announce and remind members of events

Does not have to be all in one, just free/opensource. For example: if there is a js or jquery solution that I could plugin to static pages and drive the content and membership capabilities that is OK. The limitation is I don't want to have to develop all or most of the functions.

The biggest hurdle I have is the board members and general members all NOT very tech savvy -- at all. So, if I am not around, they need to be able to handle content without me. I am not expecting a perfect solution. But I haven't spent much time in these areas -- not being Miva/mivascript.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Did something similar a while back for a retired priest that is a dear friend of mine for his ministry using WordPress with the following template/modules:
      • Template by OrganizedThemes.com called Epic ($49)
      • Akismet Anti-Spam by Automattic
      • Jetpack by WordPress.com
      • The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe, Inc
      • Event Tickets by Modern Tribe, Inc
      • Widget Importer & Exporter by ChurchThemes.com
      • WordPress Importer by WordPressDotOrg.
      • WP101 Video Tutorials by WP101Plugin.com

It should do most of what you want to do.
      Thank you, Bill Davis
