FileMaker Pro RANDOM duplicate order inport issue

Store owner has been having a random duplicate order issue when importing EZ Batch Report order.dat file. He says the duplicate problem started when he had his checkout pages made over. The data that is causing the issue is coming from the information gathered at the OPAY screen via the Addendum module. I've looked that the changes made, and they are only HTML/CSS.

The store owner invested in the update to FileMaker Pro - thinking that was the issue. It didn't resolve the random duplicate order issue. There is no pattern, no rhyme or reason, so it seems to these duplicates. Even odder, if the store owner deletes the orders from the dat file he imported (that caused the duplicate orders) and re-imports the exact same dat file - there are no duplicates in that import.

I am totally baffled. I have checked with Bill too. None of it makes sense. So are there any FileMaker Pro experts out there? I don't know if it's a FileMaker Pro issue or an issue with the dat file or something going on with the addendum input fields.

    Suggestions?

I need to resurrect this thread as the store owner is still using FileMaker Pro but it seems that with each update to Miva things get a little squirrellier and squirrellier. Now there is no way to confirm if there might be any sort of oddness going on with the EZ Batch Report order.dat file that is exported since Bill isn't maintaining the module anymore. So the store owner would like to know what other sorts of applications are store owners using to export order information to create Invoices and to build an offline database with the Customer Order History and Customer Data. The storeowner has a long history using this custom built FileMaker Pro app (he was previously using FoxPro).

To give you an idea of the data being inputted into FileMaker Pro I asked for a "bogus" order screenshot.

I don't know if there is something off the shelf that can be used or if something will need to be built, but there YEARS of data in this current system that would need to be converted.
