Is "carding" feature included in the latest release?

Is there an admin tab available to set the carding parameters?

Under Payment > Settings there are new Fraud and reCAPTCHA sections. Here are the docs: http://docs.miva.com/docs/credit-card-fraud-tools

I already have reCAPTCHA set up under System Extension Settings. Now it is also available under the Payment settings ( mode currently set to off ). Are they in conflict with each other?
To enable reCAPTCHA, does only one need to be configured or both?

They are technically two separate methods, you would only want to enable one at a time. The one you see under System Extensions Settings is the previous free module offered by Miva, however it does use the old reCAPTCHA method. The one under Payment Settings is the new built in feature, which uses Google's latest reCAPTCHA API which is much better in terms of usability, so you may want want to consider transitioning at some point.

The new one is better and doesn't require template changes, so the transition should be easy.
          Thanks,

I installed the new recaptcha but it doesn't show the checkbox on OPAY. Must have done something wrong?

Make sure the keys you have entered for reCAPTCHA do not have leading or trailing spaces. Another section to verify is the domain you entered at Google.com/recaptcha to make sure you entered it correctly. If the software is running on store.domain.com, please make sure to included the sub domain. If you continue to have issues, open a ticket with support and include a link to this forum thread.

I have the new builtin reCaptcha module setup but all it is displaying is a check box for "I'm not a Robot". I've set the settings in Google to most secure but it changes nothing. How do I get the image verification back?
                  Sincerely,

The image verification is at the discression of Google reCAPTCHA based on it's experience/risk analysis of the visitor.

Well that bites! I liked the old version better as that required actual input rather than checking a box. I'll try the new one out and see how it works then.

Thanks for the quick reply Dan.

New on is much better in my opinion, it only ramps up when it needs to, making it easier on legitimate shoppers.

Also, the checkbox IS human input. It would be VERY HARD for a bot to check that box...(its not a simple input field).

                            Dan and Bruce,

Thank you both for your expert opinions. I will consider this nothing to worry about and keep the new one enabled from here on out.

May both of you have an amazing weekend!

As I understand it, the I am not a Robot box shows up once you've successfully passed a real Captcha on another Google Captcha site and it cookies you, so it knows you're a human and as Bruce said it's hard for a bot to click the box.
                              Thanks,
