Hi Gordon,
I mean the From name when the order confirmation e-mail is sent automatically at the time the order is placed.
For example when I get an e-mail from the Miva forum the from field says:
Miva Merchant Community Forums <[email protected]>
However when my store sends a confirmation e-mail the from field just says the e-mail address with no name:
[email protected]
The 'name' field in the template based e-mail is just the name it is called in the admin. It is not the 'name' that you see displayed in an e-mail.
Do you know how to add a 'name' field to the e-mail?Last edited by Foreman2; 04-06-16, 07:54 PM.

Order Fulfillment Settings > Template Emails. Select an Email template and click the pencil icon (not the Edit Template button). You can enter addresses there.
You should have &mvt:store:email; in the From field by default.Gordon Currie

Hi Gordon, yes I can see that. However, I can only enter the From e-mail address. I do not see what field controls the From Name.
&mvt:store:email; can only be replaced by an e-mail address. It cannot include a from name from what I can tell unless I'm doing something wrong.Last edited by Foreman2; 04-06-16, 08:12 PM.
