It seems like I remember reading a post with some of the new features that were being worked on for Miva 9.7 but I can not find that post anymore. Anyone remember where that post was or is that list of new features available somewhere?

At the highest level 9.7 is basically Facets, Search and Order Processing improvements. It's also part of the MivaCon Keynote. -
Any Estimate on the released date for 9.7. Going to update one of our sites but waiting for faceted search.

We don't provide ETA's unless we're imminently upon release. 9.65 (which has ApplePay and some other MivaPay features as well as bug fixes) should ship this month. It's built and in testing.
9.7 is a few months away and I never recommend waiting on something like that when you can achieve it today other ways or just update when it comes out.Comment

Is there still hope for 9.7 to support multiple domains from one back end? We're launching a new business soon that will be a very slimmed-down subset of products from our main business, and it'd be great to run it all from one place rather than having an entirely separate Miva installation for that website.Comment

I believe that is already possible...though maybe not wise. Even if you have a subset, the duplicated product data would likely cause 'duplicate' content warnings.Bruce Golub

Yes Multiple Domains is still on the possible list for 9.7. We're having some internal discussions about priority and if we want to do that pre the new SOAP API or post (and which path causes more duplicate effort).
You can achieve it today through template coding, but it's custom work (not a module, just custom page templating) and is definitely on our short list of very high priority features.Comment

Bruce's point about Duplicate Content from an SEO standpoint will stand either way, but when the feature is in the core software you'll be able to have unique "content" for the same product on each site (if you do the work for that to be true).Comment
