    Marketing Coupon thinks it's been used

    Store owner has a few customers who entered the Marketing coupon, proceeded through checkout and their payment was declined due to the dollar amount and fraud protection or daily limit. Once the transaction was cleared to try again, the checkout does not allow them to use the same coupon code again. Is this a bug? Or by design?

    From Dev:

    "we don't register the coupon as having been used until we create the order, so unless their fraud system is somehow deleting a created order I'm not sure how that could be happening

    if the failure is during payment, the coupon will never be marked as having been used"
