Additional Charge to an Order

Is there anyway to charge an additional amount an order paid via Credit Card and Authorize.net? If I try to charge an additional amount to an order in Miva it insists I enter the full credit card number. However, in the Authorize.net admin it allows you to charge an additional amount to a card that was used on an existing order.
