I recently had a customer request an RMA for her entire order (5 items.) I issued the RMA with all 5 items selected, but when the return arrived to us she had chosen to keep one of the items.
I selected the checkbox for all the items we received back and then clicked Manage Returns > Receive / Restock, but after the process completed all of the items were marked as having been returned and received back.
I added a note to the customers account that one item was not returned and I added the item back to the order, but the customer still received the automated email showing that all items were received.
Is there a way to only receive a partial RMA in a situation like this? I thought that selecting only some of the items before hitting Manage Returns would do the trick, but it did not.
