Yes, you can assign them just like any other product (may sure you've viewing non-active products) and Miva will only apply the discount what that specific variant is in the cart.
What's the relationship between the master product and variants with respect to price groups? If the master is assigned to a price group, will the variants get the discount too? Or do they need to be assigned separately?
I'm working with a store that sells clothing products in various sizes and colors. Some products have option prices, so that the larger sizes cost more. We need the option prices to vary by price group. For example, a particular shirt in size XXL might cost $5 extra in one price group, but $6 extra in some other price group. Is that do'able? How do we set that up?
