    Credit Card Declined Sale Saver Email

    Two questions - does anyone have a module that will automatically send out some sort of a sale saver email if a credit card is declined? Can the card declined message be tweaked or is that coming straight from the card processor?

    The card messages can be edited (on the edit error screen).

      Ahhh, I didn't dig deep enough. I actually see 4 different messages.

        So I can edit the message - any way to trigger a sale saver email to messages other than

        Unable to authorize payment: Declined by Fraud Service: 11611-Transaction blocked by your settings in FMF
        Unable to authorize payment: Declined: 10626-Transaction refused due to risk model

          This is handy. I see a column titled Replacement. It seems you can simply edit the Message field if you want, so what is the Replacement field for?

          Also, to clarify. Is this the error message a customer would see if their card is declined? We'd like to make note that they contact their card company (you wouldn't believe how often that resolves the issue and they come back and buy).

            You will want to add your new message text to the Replacement field. If you have any issues adding the replacement text or additional questions, contact Miva Support at 800-608-6482 option 2 or email ([email protected]).

              There is an authorization failure email built into Miva. Currently it only sends for subscriptions, however you can set it up to send for standard authorization failures from the store front end as well.
