Customer Link Problem

Hi,

I noticed in Miva 9 (*I'm using the Suivant Ready Theme) that when a customer is logged into my site their name and a message signifying they are logged in is not displayed in the global header.
In my other Miva 5.5 store it does show this in the global header when a customer is logged in... example ""Welcome Back John Smith" is displayed in the global header in the same exact spot where the customer log in link was.
I need customers to know they are logged into the store and displaying a welcome back message etc. accomplishes this.

Both stores use the same customer link token.
Miva Support was unable to help me with this problem unfortunately.

Can someone please tell me how to do this in a Miva 9 Ready theme store?

In most cases, with the ReadyThemes, the design does not allow for the default welcome message in a stock installation. You can edit the text customers see if you go to User Interface -> Settings -> Customer Links.
