Slider for Base theme homepage?

Hello,
I've been looking for an image slider to put on the homepage. My site uses the Base Readytheme. There used to be a KB article that talked about doing it, but it turned out that only worked on older versions of Miva (I'm on 9.0006). I found a third-party PHP slider to try, but I'm not really happy with it. I'm wondering if Miva has come up with code for this, or if anyone knows of an inexpensive/free slider that works well.
