    Google Shopping - Invalid Account

I am trying to set up a few products in the Marketplaces - Google Shopping. I can't get past the initial configuration. I get an error message "Invalid account". I am logged into the Google Merchant account that I want to connect to.

What am I doing wrong here?

Sidebar - while looking around in the Google Merchant Center under the Account linking, I see an e-commerce tab which talks about a Google Shopping app that is "supported on BigCommerce, PrestaShop, and Magento." The follow on link is https://support.google.com/merchants.../6279293?hl=en

I haven't seen that error before. Are you able to use that same account to log into Google Merchant Center without any issues? Maybe try to sign out of all google accounts then login to the correct account when you try to connect it to Miva.

For your other question, I've seen that before previously. It looks like they have a special integration with a few ecommerce platforms. Not sure if they built the integration or what. Our integration is essentially the same thing, just built and maintained by us using their API

I have tried signing out, that didn't help. I wonder if the error is caused by the Merchant ID being a subset of a main ID? Isn't there any way to manually enter the Merchant ID?

It would be really great advertising for Miva if it were also mentioned there.

I had a similar (but not same issue) with a Google property. Solved it by clearing all google-based cookies and clearing the cache

Thanks Bruce, I just tried it. No joy.

I'm thinking it's best to open a support ticket at this time. I'll post what is discovered.

So I was in the process of writing up the support ticket and while in the process of stepping through everything to grab some additional screenshots of the error, I was able to connect to the Google Merchant account. The only thing different was that I had run the latest update on the store yesterday to be able to enable Apple Pay. Guess I should go read through the list of bug fixes for the latest update

I set up products in google shopping using the Miva interface. I have gotten a series of errors from slow loading pages, pages not able to be read on a mobile device, missing microdata. All products disallowed and google account suspended due to frustrating product pages. When I contacted google they researched it and were supposed to remove the error because the pages were loading when he tried them. Must be something in the interface. Support suggested checking here.

I set up some products in google shopping. I used the Miva interface. Once the products were up loaded I got several errors from google. The pages are slow loading, missing microdata, unable to load on a mobile device. They suspended my account. I have had several conversations with Miva support and Google support. Google said pages were loading when he went to the pages and would remove the error. Nothing. I then ran the updates to Miva and re-loaded products. Still nothing. ??
