Will the Marketplaces - Google Shopping API overwrite an existing feed?

Store has been using the EmporiumPlus Template Data Feed module to create a Google Shopping Feed - google_data_feed.txt. Will the Google Shopping API of the Marketplaces - Google Shopping overwrite all the existing products with the few created within this feature?

I think it creates duplicates. You'll want to remove the previous feed of products before switching to the API

I'm not ready to remove the current feed. I was hoping to be able to have 2. It would help to test have well it performs for this particular store.

Where in the Google Merchant Center would the API "feed" show up at? Right now all I see are default input methods of Google Sheets, Scheduled fetch or upload.

It looks like it shows up separately - which is good. As anticipated, there are errors. But I'm monitoring the test.

I just noticed that product URI is not https, even though the store is all https. I 'think" I may see where the problem is coming from. The store is using the Legacy SEO Settings (for number of reasons). In the Settings tab, the URL Prefix it's http:// and cannot be changed to https. Is this where the product is pulling the http:// from? I thought this was something that was going to be looked into?
