I was wondering if it would be possible to display a message for customers browsing from a specific country BEFORE they login or checkout. In other words, we would need to know when the arrive at the site what country they are visiting from via the IP or something similar. Obviously if we ask what country or they login or do something where Miva has tracked their country via their address, we can do it, but we need to know somewhat dynamically. Analytics are able to determine where the visitor is located, I'm wondering if Miva could do the same? Thanks!

You could use the GeoIP Country service ($314 1st year, $288/yr after) https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip2-country-database which would let you set an environment variable for the country the visiting IP address is from. The relevant templates in your store could check the variable and perform different actions if it's set to something that warrants different handling. If the site is hosted here, our staff can install the relevant MaxMind software and settings for no charge. -
