Volume Pricing PROD Page item issue

I created the New Item discount_volume as outlined in the how-to guide http://docs.miva.com/how-to-guides/volume-pricing but when I go to insert the Item Tag shown in the docs

<mvt:item name="volprice" param="product:id" />

when I try to save the page it barks at me. If I use

<mvt:item name="discount_volume" param="product:id" />

it works as expected. I'd say the docs needed to be tweaked.

I suppose there isn't any way to update the dynamic price when the quantity is changed?
