country selected automatically

Hello, everyone. Is it possible to have the country automatically selected when the shopper selects a state? For example, when someone selects Colorado, the Country field automatically selects United States.

We created a small add-on which does this (kind of) and more. Once the customer selects the country and adds the zip code it automatically adds the city. The sample works for the US only. http://dts3047.mivamerchantdev.com/customer-create.html
