I like the green for active tickets. and the dark grey for closed tickets.
Can I suggest that awaiting customer response be different than dark grey.
I miss things because at just a glance I think they are closed.
maybe yellow for awaiting response? so there is a kind of stoplight signaling going on?
If you make it a different intensity than the green then it would be okay for colorblind people too.
