MIVA's Chrysi Philalithes promoted to VP, Global Marketing & Communications

MIVA'S CHRYSI PHILALITHES PROMOTED TO VP, GLOBAL MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

LONDON - February 8, 2005. MIVA, Inc., (NASDAQ: MIVA), the leading independent Performance Marketing Network, has today announced the promotion of Chrysi Philalithes to the newly created role of VP, Global Marketing & Communications. The promotion will see Chrysi relocate from MIVA's London office to its New York office.

Chrysi was a founding member of MIVA (then Espotting) in Europe in 2000, joining as Marketing Manager before being promoted to UK Marketing Director in 2001 and subsequently European Marketing Director in 2004.

In her new role, Chrysi will lead marketing and communications across MIVA's network of European and North American offices. She will report to Chief Marketing Officer, Seb Bishop, and lead a global team of twenty, as well as manage the company's appointed marketing and communications agencies.

Under Chrysi's marketing leadership, MIVA has won a string of industry awards including The Media Momentum Awards in 2005 and Tornado Insider's 'Best Achievement' Award. The company was also recognised as Europe's fastest growing IT business in 2004's 'Europe's 500' list. Chrysi is also credited with spearheading the high profile re-brand of Espotting to MIVA in 2005 through a $1 million integrated global campaign which spanned advertising, direct marketing, sponsorship and public relations.

Prior to joining MIVA, Chrysi was New Business Manager at above the line agency, WCRS, where she played a key role in the team that helped the agency grow by 40%, with new business wins such as Sega, Buzz, Sharepeople.com and BUPA.

Chrysi holds an MBA from Imperial College where she specialised in Marketing and New Ventures.
