MIVA LAUNCHES MIVA MAIL IN EUROPE

NEW Email advertising product enhances company's portfolio of partner solutions

London, UK 12 October 2005, MIVA, Inc., (NASDAQ: MIVA) the leading independent Performance Marketing Network, has today announced the launch of MIVA Mail, a new product that enables MIVA partners to generate Pay-Per-Click revenue through their email newsletters or other correspondence.

MIVA Mail embeds dynamic, content-relevant Pay-Per-Click Ads within standard HTML emails. The proprietary technology underpinning the new product means that each time an email is previewed or opened, the most up to date, bid controlled Ads from across MIVA's network are displayed, even if emails are opened weeks after being originally sent or are forwarded between web users.

As with MIVA's web based Pay-Per-Click Ads, all MIVA Mail listings are fully customised to suit the design style of partners' individual email campaigns. Listings can be text only or include individual advertisers' logos or other images.

MIVA Mail is platform independent and works across both web and desktop email applications. Listings provided to partners by MIVA can be easily inserted into the code of any HTML email and are displayed using industry standard HTML and ImageMap tags. Individual email and campaign IDs within these codes may be modified, enabling partners to use them across multiple email campaigns.

MIVA Mail is the latest in a series of innovative new products for distribution partners from MIVA, which last month launched its first European Toolbar product for Dennis Publishing. The company also last month unveiled its new MIVA Pay-Per-Call* Ad model in the UK.
