MIVA AND 118 118 EXPAND TXT//AD WITH THE LAUNCH OF 50 NEW AD GROUPS

Over 500,000 more texts now available to advertisers each month

Announcement coincides with the signing of major new advertiser deals

LONDON - May 23, 2006. MIVA, Inc., (NASDAQ:MIVA), a leading independent Performance Marketing Network has increased the number of Ad Groups available to advertisers through TXT//AD, the innovative new Pay-Per-Text Ad model launched earlier in the year in conjunction with 118 118, the UK's largest directory enquiry provider.

TXT//AD for the first time enables companies to run ads within text messages sent by 118 118 in response to directory enquiry requests. TXT//ADs are sold by targeted Ad Groups, namely categories of products and services. These groups enable companies to reach active purchasers directly interested in their products or services.

Fifty new Ad Groups have been added, bringing the total number of groups to over 120. Among the new Ad Groups are: 'plumbers', 'gyms and spas', 'casinos' and 'pubs'.

The announcement comes as take up of TXT//AD amongst advertisers and agencies continues to gather momentum. Advertisers who have signed up to the new service since its launch in March this year include 888.com, Admiral, and Hilton Hotels.

"The roll out of these new Ad Groups will, I believe, further increase the level of targeting available through TXT//AD and open up the ad model to an even broader pool of potential advertisers."

Alongside the new Ad Groups, MIVA and 118 118 have also streamlined the pricing structure for TXT//AD. Campaigns will continue to be charged on a Pay-Per-Text basis however there will now be straightforward minimum campaign costs ranging from £1,000 to £10,000 depending on the individual Ad Group.
