ESPOTTING EXTENDS DEAL WITH FREENET TO POWER SEARCH AS WELL AS CONTENT

ESPOTTING REPLACES OVERTURE TO PROVIDE PAID LISTINGS FOR 2nd LARGEST GERMAN ISP

London 26th January 2004. Espotting Media, the 'Best European Paid Placement Service ', announces that it has extended its deal with freenet, one of the leading internet-telecommunications companies in Germany.

Under the new, exclusive deal, Espotting's top five German listings appear on freenet search result pages under the heading 'Sponsoren-Links' (Sponsored Links). Espotting's listings are clearly differentiated from freenet's other search results to ensure a distinction between commercial and organic listings for their Internet users. Results for freenet's search pages were previously supplied by Overture.

The deal is an extension of Espotting's 13 month old relationship with freenet, under which Espotting results are integrated into freenet's content pages. In the existing agreement, 5 keyword driven Espotting listings appear under the 'Top-Links' banner within freenet's channels, with a further 5 listings appearing within the links under the 'Such-Tipps' (Search Tips) banner.
