MIVA MEDIA LAUNCHES THE MIVA PRECISION NETWORK

New vertical Pay-Per-Click network to launch in the U.S. and U.K.

Network to complement MIVA Media's existing Core Network

New York - January 31, 2007. MIVA Media, a leading online advertising network and a division of MIVA, Inc. (NASDAQ:MIVA), has today announced the U.S. and U.K. launch of The MIVA Precision Network, a vertical Pay-Per-Click network designed to enhance targeting and in turn drive higher value leads for MIVA advertisers.

The new MIVA Precision Network, which is currently in beta, will operate alongside MIVA's existing Core Network. MIVA's Core Network will continue to offer broad distribution and deliver leads to advertisers across all sectors, while MIVA's Precision Network will offer narrower distribution and deliver only vertical specific leads. Companies can advertise on MIVA's Precision Network, Core Network or a combination of the two.

"As the Pay-Per-Click market continues to mature, we believe there will be increasing demand amongst advertisers for both horizontal and vertical networks," commented Peter Corrao, Chief Executive Officer of MIVA. The MIVA Precision Network will span 18 sectors in the U.S.: adult, apparel, automotive, dating, education, electronics, entertainment, finance, health, insurance, mobile, office supplies, pharmaceutical, professional services, real estate, sports/recreation, technology and travel. In the U.K. the Network will initially span 5 sectors: automotive, finance, gambling, health/beauty and recruitment.

To support the launch of The Precision Network, MIVA is offering advertisers access to teams of vertical experts who will provide insights into areas such as traffic trends, top converting keywords and bid landscapes.

Robert Woo, Search Marketing Specialist at Smarter Living, Inc. and one of the advertisers involved in early trials of the Precision Network, commented: "The MIVA Precision Network has returned an excellent conversion rate so far and we find it to be a very cost-effective method of giving us exposure to quality traffic."
