MailChimp Stopped Syncing

Has anyone had an issue like this with Mailchimp? I have two stores connected to Mailchimp with the Miva built in module. It looks like both stopped syncing about a month ago. The sync logs show an error: MER-FUF-MLCP-00077: Your API key may be invalid, or you've attempted to access the wrong datacenter. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the module but now I am not able to complete the setup to Mailchimp. I can get all of the way through setup to where you select the mailing list and currency but why I try to save I get: "Failed to create Mailchimp store after 50 attempts".

Multi-Domain and QuickBooks

I did a little reading ahead of time, and if a store is using the Miva QuickBooks Online module, the docs for it have a note that says "Only one QuickBooks Online company can be connected to a Miva store at a time." How does this work with a Multi-Domain store? I asked the Support Docs AI. It basically told me to contact Miva Support.

The store I'm working with is currently using the T-Hub connector, and it could be worth changing to the MivaConnect QBO configuration if it can import orders and inventory from the two stores into one QB account.

Multi-Domain and Price Groups

Still trying to find the best way to create a second store using the same products from the main store, but offered at a different price than the main store. Reading through everything, I had first wondered if the second store could be a Price Group. It would appear, if I understand correctly, that this Price Group also impacts the main store? So the only option would be to go to the "Additional Store" to offer different pricing?

Export a Branch

Hi Brennan, I figured you might be the person to direct this to. I really need to get a handle on gross profit on our Roastmasters.com site. We sell a lot of products including coffee that is available in 5 sizes. I always put costs in the attributes for those sizes but I see no way to get a report that shows sales by item by attribute, along with those costs. So doing gross profit takes me a couple of days a month crunching numbers in Excel. We also use Shipstation and Stone Edge but they are equally dead ended in one way or another. Do you have a suggestion to make this an easy task? We use Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop but if I had to, I would also subscribe to QBO, although I would rather not. I had hoped Margin Awareness or the new built in AI would finally be the answer, but unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case. I would appreciate any help or direction as I feel like I am running a business blindly. Solutions seem to be available on other ecommerce platforms (everything seems to integrate with Shopify, for example). I am not thinking of bailing, but this seems like it should be something built in or at least accessible through reports. Thanks for your time.

Product Description html layouts broken when using page builder

I must be missing something simple... I have shadows based html/css layouts in my product descriptions. In my dev branch using the latest version of Shadows and page builder my description layouts are all broken. The css rules do not get applied breaking the layout.

If I copy/paste the same html into the edit product > footer template, instead of the description field, it displays as expected.

I don't get it.

"update" and page builder buttons, and dot dot dot menu missing until page scrolled

This is for Miva 26, you can't see the "update" button, ... menu or page builder button unless you scroll down the page and cause the top floatie bar to appear. I'm wondering why this design vs ui/ux vs usability was done and if it can be tweaked somehow so the big main functions (... menu for reload data after pushing with mmt etc, update button for manual update, page builder button to access that stuff...) can be added back to the init view please. Screen show helper to my babble.

I thought the update broke the site I was working on and my heart jumped into my throat. Nope, not broken, just questionable UI/UX vs design.

PS: Thank you for bringing back the fixed width font in the code editors in the Admin.

Shipping upcharge on products

We currently handle this via attributes, charges and fees, or flat rate shipping methods. A way to add a shipping upcharge to a product that adds to the baskets shipping charge instead of being a fee linked to a specific product could be very helpful when dealing with larger or heavier products.

Change log on a product and order level.

Something along the lines of the orders notes system showing what user changed what field when. It would be extra nice to see what the data changed from/to. Many of the systems we have used had this feature and it was very helpful.

Exclude Products from Search Results

Merchants can now control whether individual products appear in storefront search results using a new "Exclude from Search Results" setting at the product level.

This feature is useful for products that should remain active in the catalog but not be discoverable through search, such as discontinued items with SEO value, custom one-off products, or internal-use products.

When enabled, the product will be excluded from both standard and AI-powered search results, while remaining accessible via direct links, collections, or other merchandising tools.

The setting is available on the Add/Edit Product screen and can also be managed through imports, APIs, and product feeds.

Faire for Wholesalers

Are any wholesalers out there using Faire? If so, did you get a custom solution to connect with their platform? It most likely would need to be a solution similar to connecting with Etsy or eBay, but for B2B type stores to keep your catalog, inventory, and orders in sync with your store. Also, to be able to quickly and easily publish products on Faire.

Just wondering. I have a store owner who loves the ease of Faire and would like to connect it to her store.

Setting to Calculate a Price Group Against the Base Price

We often set up price groups where multiple discounts apply to the same item, and we want those discounts to always calculate against the base price instead of a cascading calculation of discount percentages. For example, a 10% discount on an individual item, plus a 10% volume discount for the whole basket being over $2000. We would want that to be 20% off that individual sale item and 10% off everything else. Currently, it's 10% off the individual item, which is rolled up into the basket subtotal, then the basket discount is 10% off that discounted subtotal, which gives less than a 20% discount to the customer for that sale item.

There are more complicated scenarios as well, where we have discount price tiers for specific customers in the mix, who then might also qualify for a volume discount, then maybe also a sale on a specific item. We'd want something like a 10% + 15% + 5% for a 30% discount, but it's impossible to do that accurately when we have multiple price groups, volume discount tiers, and sale items, where we want to set a total cap of 30% for the combined savings across them. We end up setting these things up knowing the website will be wrong and just let our ERP correct it for the final invoice.

Also, I recognize that I'm saying the website is "wrong" when I just mean it's not the behavior we want, but it doesn't match our master invoice on the ERP side. I also mean "wrong" in the sense that we're marketing a sale as being "up to 30% off" some items when the various discounts stack, but it can't really do that because it's a discount off a discount off a discount.

The fix would be a checkbox on the price group setup to calculate that price group's discount against the original base price instead of always using the price remaining after the previous discount calculation.
