I had "assumed" that an exact copy of the live store could be used to create the Additional Store. I "assumed" incorrectly. Because of that, now everything has to be reconfigured by hand, including activating modules, importing categories and products, recreating 72 Attribute templates, then importing and applying Framework from the live store. I now have the store owner trying to find the licenses for all the modules that are used in the Main Store.

UPS Multiple Account Numbers

Merchants who use multiple UPS Shipper Numbers can now assign specific UPS shipping methods to different UPS accounts. The Miva UPS Shipping Module now supports associating multiple UPS accounts with a single store, allowing merchants to apply negotiated rates across different delivery services.

During checkout, Miva automatically requests rates using the appropriate account credentials, ensuring shoppers receive accurate negotiated pricing for each available shipping option.

Merchant facing Shipping Rate Calculation Visibility

Merchants can view detailed shipping calculation data directly within the Miva admin through a new Shipping Summary display available on orders and during shipping recalculation.

The Shipping Summary displays shipping method details, package information, carrier responses, and other calculation data used during shipping rate calculation.

PageBuilder Performance Optimization

This release includes performance improvements to PageBuilder page rendering and page load behavior. These changes help improve Lighthouse performance scores and reduce layout shifting during page load for a more stable storefront experience.

FedEx REST Migration

FedEx has discontinued support for its previous integration services beginning June 1, 2026. Merchants using the legacy FedEx integration should update to the new FedEx Shipping module to avoid potential service interruptions.

During installation, the new module will attempt to migrate settings from the previous integration. Merchants should review and verify all settings after installation.

Stop abandoned basket emails from sending to Google Storebot

Google Storebot frequently triggers abandoned basket emails using an email domain of @storebotmail.joonix.net.

I did a quick search and Google's AI result gave me this:

"storebotmail.joonix.net is an email domain used primarily by automated store-verification crawlers, most notably the Google StoreBot. If you are an e-commerce store owner, you will frequently see this domain associated with abandoned carts, new newsletter signups, or test orders (often under the name "John Smith").

Why is it visiting your store?
Google uses this automated bot to verify that the product pricing, shipping, and tax information on your checkout page matches the data you provide in your Google Shopping and Google Merchant Center feeds. The bot walks through your checkout process to ensure consistency, but it rarely (if ever) completes a purchase."

All of that makes perfect sense and seems harmless.

So my question is; Is there a way to exclude this email domain from triggering abandoned basket emails?

Hiding Out of Stock Attributes

So Pagebuilder does this; it uses the opacity to reduce the visibility. I want to make them even less visible by changing the opacity to 0.1 or 0.2. I can't work out how to do it, as it seems it is locked, reading about mmx-customizations items need to be in the mmx base to be available, and the mmx-form-radio isn't. Is there another way?

We've been looking for a module or app that allows for more robust inventory tracking. We have a lot of products, and each product has multiple Lots with different expiration dates using the First In First Out method. Does anyone know of an app or module that can do this that works well with Miva? Or if Miva already has this functionality I would love to know where it is!

Ramblings from an OG

I feel like I'm the last bastion of people working with small mom & pop (or in many cases just pop) businesses. I was approached today to create a website identical to another business similar to it. The two business owners are friends and sell the same stuff - memorabilia. The first owner doesn't sell online; he's "old school," call or email him. He also takes his wares to shows in his region. Update information comes to me via email or CDs mailed via USPS. There is so much I'd love to change about his process. For years, I wanted to get him onto the Miva platform, even if he never sold from it. It just would have made my life easier. You probably would have thought I'd move him to WordPress, but his site is just plain 'ol HTML (well, it's Bootstrap). The site has hundreds of pages and lots of categories with items that I manually flag as sold and change out when he mails the updates.

Now I have his friend. He wants a website just like it. It got me missing the very old days when Miva Merchant came as part of the hosting plan. But don't get me wrong, if I didn't love the application and the people of Miva as much as I do, I don't think I would have made it to the 30-year mark with the platform.

Availability Groups in Flex Components

I'm trying to incorporate Availability Groups into our mega menu flex component, but it's causing the entire menu to be hidden from the Page Builder preview. Can Availability Groups be used in flex components, and if so is there any documentation about how to properly set it up? I'm not trying to gate the entire component, I'm just trying to gate a wholesale section of the menu within the component.

Initial Scheduling Toggle State in Flex Components

I'm building a custom flex component with scheduling fields using the can_disable group pattern, and I'm running into a persistent issue: toggles are defaulting to ON when new list items are created, rather than OFF.

Here's the property structure I'm using:

I've tried several variations to get the toggle to default to OFF for new items:

1. "settings": { "enabled": 0 } on the group - toggle still defaults ON
2. "template": { "settings": { "enabled": 0 } } on the group - toggle still defaults ON
3. No settings or template at all (matching the pattern in mmx-mega-menu) - toggle still defaults ON
4. Nesting start/end inside a parent group without can_disable (caret-only collapsible) - child toggles still default ON

The fields are inside a list_type: group list property. When a new list item is created in Page Builder, both the Not Visible Before and Not Visible After toggles are ON by default, which means all new items are immediately date-gated and invisible until toggles are manually turned off.

For reference, I have another component on the same site that uses the identical pattern (can_disable: 1, no settings/template) and its scheduling toggles correctly default to OFF. The only structural difference I can identify is that in the other component the scheduling fields are at the top level of the list item, whereas in my component they are nested inside a group. Also, the component I'm having trouble with is global, the other one is not.

Questions:
1. Is there a correct way to specify can_disable defaults for new list items?
2. Does nesting a can_disable group inside another group affect its default state?
3. Is this a known issue?

Basket Coupon Charge Not Showing in Basket:charges

The integration seems to work however the basket:charges array isn't populated with the coupon discount, nor does the total or comprehensive total reflect the discount in their values. Once you get to the OPAY page everything renders correctly

MailChimp Stopped Syncing

Has anyone had an issue like this with Mailchimp? I have two stores connected to Mailchimp with the Miva built in module. It looks like both stopped syncing about a month ago. The sync logs show an error: MER-FUF-MLCP-00077: Your API key may be invalid, or you've attempted to access the wrong datacenter. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the module but now I am not able to complete the setup to Mailchimp. I can get all of the way through setup to where you select the mailing list and currency but why I try to save I get: "Failed to create Mailchimp store after 50 attempts".

Multi-Domain and QuickBooks

I did a little reading ahead of time, and if a store is using the Miva QuickBooks Online module, the docs for it have a note that says "Only one QuickBooks Online company can be connected to a Miva store at a time." How does this work with a Multi-Domain store? I asked the Support Docs AI. It basically told me to contact Miva Support.

The store I'm working with is currently using the T-Hub connector, and it could be worth changing to the MivaConnect QBO configuration if it can import orders and inventory from the two stores into one QB account.

Can a Multi-Domain Additional Store be temporarily configured without a domain name? Can it be changed at a later date?
