What happens if you leave off the %OUI% and %VAR(Orders.d.id)%?
Are you using a recent version of OpenUI?

Oops, the beginning of my last post was trimmed accidentally when sending -
I did not write "duct page", but rather "On the product page" :)

Duct page, there are radio buttons for the free, the standard and the PRO
versions. When buying the module you have to select one of them, so I
believe it is pretty difficult to miss the free version :) Well, unless you
are still running the several years outdated uncompiled Miva Merchant
version - there is indeed no free uncompiled version.

I do not know about the OUI modules, but you can try the free MMHTML /
MmHTMLc formatted notification modules - besides many other features, =
they
also include the order number in the subject by default:
<A HREF ="http://www.mivacentral.com/truxoft/?product=3DTRUXOFT-MMHTML">http://www.mivacentral.com/truxoft/?product=3DTRUXOFT-MMHTML</A>
<A HREF ="http://www.mivacentral.com/truxoft/?product=3DTRUXOFT-MMHTMLC">http://www.mivacentral.com/truxoft/?product=3DTRUXOFT-MMHTMLC</A>
as I wrote, they are free without any time restriction, unless you want =
to
use the more advanced features from the standard or PRO versions.
