I have been asked how people / companies can help sponsor the users groups.
After a lot of thought, I came up with this idea.
If each person that desires to be a sponsor will:
1. Supply a banner 160*41 (.gif or .jpg, and as small as possible)
2. Either link to us using a standard URL (www.mvusers.com) or our logo
<A HREF =/"http://www.mvusers.com/images/index_06a.gif (may be modified for size)/">http://www.mvusers.com/images/index_06a.gif (may be modified for size)</A>.
3. Agree to offer some giveaway or sponsor some portion of the meetings
(this could be a free module, t-shirt, lunch or dinner, speaking, etc.) no
more than 3 times per year. These meetings will occur at least twice a year,
and possibly more often in other parts of the country. Anything beyond the
three times is always welcome!
In return, MvUsers will:
1. Place your banner in a random rotation across all pages of the
MvUsers.com web site for one year.
2. Randomly mention your sponsorship in any outgoing general announcements.
3. Specifically mention your sponsorship in any announcement regarding the
specific meetings you sponsor.
4. Seek additional ways to promote your product or service.
This opportunity is open to all individuals, developers, merchant services,
hosting companies and 3rd party developers using Miva Script and Miva
Merchant or developing products / services for this market.
