    Viewport or Browser Size Report

I have a store owner that likes to drag his browser to different sizes. Sometimes he finds a less than "sweet spot". I'm thinking I should review the Google Analytics Viewport or Browser Size Report to help figure out what his customers are using versus what he likes to do. It also might help to convince me that his customers will drag (squish) their browsers to a smaller view and shop from it. (I'm not talking about mobile views).

How does this apply to Colossus? I am having problems with the drop down menu. On my laptop, the scroll bar that appears in the left side of the menu covers up some of the text. Then even though it scrolls, it can get to the bottom of the list due to the screen browser size (even at full-screen size). My laptop has a 13-inch screen, the recommended resolution is set to 3840 x 2160 but the text is set at the recommended 300%. If I bump it down everything is visible but it's more difficult to see.

Any other suggestions are very welcome.

    Hi Leslie,

There will always be some "in-between" spot that may look wonky on a given screen. That being said, the breakpoints used are fairly standard and do allow for larger resolution screens. Bumping the text percentage will affect the breakpoints as well, so it is possible to reach some Franken-setting through dragging and font percentages that makes elements less than usable.

Thanks, Matt. I'm hoping that the report may lend some credence to stop playing magician making balloon animals.

Tell him to go to amazon.com and do the same thing. IMO, the default Colossus Framework does a better job.

Hmmm...at least for me, Amazon behaves pretty well.
