Drop down menu chevron is pointing down

Trying to figure out why the "u-icon-chevron-right" is pointing down. I doubled checked it on the demo site and it's doing the same thing there too. I need the chevron to point right.

The primary site navigation (nav bar). Playing around with it, it would seem that class u-icon-chevron-up will point the chevron to the right.

        HI Leslie,

In the case of that navigation, there is CSS in place to make the right chevron rotate 90 degrees to point down unless the screen area is small enough to trigger the off-canvas version.

When I changed the class to "u-icon-chevron-up" the icon now points to the right. - it's almost like the styles are 90 degrees out of phase.

            HI Leslie,

That's correct. Since the same menu is used for all layouts, there is CSS in place to make the chevron look more appropriate for the given menu,

It just dawned on me what you were saying - at least I think I so - are you saying that when you mouseover the navigation that has "children" the arrow is supposed to rotate 90 degrees?

                Hi Leslie,

Not really. Being a menu that goes from off-canvas to horizontal, we use the right chevron icon to indicate there are sub-levels. When the navigation becomes horizontal, there is a media query which rotates the right chevron 90 degrees so it points down to indicate sub-levels.
