Module Update: WYSIWYG Editor Wombat compatibility

    Hi,

Our WYSIWYG Editor module is now "wombat" compatible. Please grab your updates through the original store of purchase.

Note that the latest distribution (v5.0002) includes TinyMCE Version 3.3.6 which at the time of build was the latest version available. Somewhere around 3.2, TinyMCE removed the "Confirm to use Editor" popup feature, so now the module will automatically turn textarea boxes into WYSIWYG editors without prompting.

TinyMCE is distributed under the LGPL license, which is included in the distribution. Thanks to MoxieCode for a great product!

    Best,
    James

If it turns textarea boxes into WYSIWYG editors without prompting, can you still turn it off on a case by case scenario?

      Hi Scott,

The module can be "disabled" from any page in the site (eg, edit product page, etc) my removing the wysiwyg item from that page; ie, the opposite of what the instructions say about how to add the wysiwyg item to new pages created after the module was installed.

To clarify my question... some employees of my client like to use the editor while some like to freehand the html. Is this possible with the latest version?

Click the "HTML" button in the editor, you can directly edit the HTML

V5.0003 is now available - added back in the "Click to Edit" feature, fixes other Wombat compatibility issues.

              Hi James,

I just installed the v5.0003 update on my site and there is still no "Click to Edit" feature and it is still disabling the inventory variants feature. I did the ftp of the jscripts folder and my module version is now showing the v5.0003 number.

Any suggestions or ideas of what I might have done wrong? Thanks.

              Susan

Re: Module Update: WYSIWYG Editor Wombat compatibility

The option to choose whether or not open the WYSIWYG editor is now back but when enabled it is still disabling the inventory variants configuration screen.

Was this latest update supposed to fix that or is that something you are still working on?

                Thanks.

                  Hi Susan,

We had a bad build released. v5.0005 should be released shortly. Sorry!
