The solution (IMO), is to use the front side of Miva to process phone orders. (There are a few add on modules to help facilitate this, but in the age of reasonably sophisticated SMT Template coding--not sure they offer much.)

It's easy enough to add helper tools such as "order by product code" (here's a really old example on a site under redevelopment: https://www.redrivercatalog.com/category/quickadd.html). Order by history (this presents an itemized list of ordered product NOT just orders, etc.

You can even easily make a completely new page that only your staff can access and put whatever helpful feature you want...and that's they best part because instead of having EVERYONE'S feature clustering up the interface, you have only the ones meaningful to you. True, if you can't do it, hiring a developer may set you back a couple of hundred, but your ROI on having a streamlined, fits your workflow perfectly solution is well worth the investment. (And no, right now we don't have time, but we might know some folks that do.)

My clients are having the same issues in their office. Being a lawyer it would be nice to have a feature to save them time.

Is this possible yet? Has anyone figured out a way to add it? As it is now, we have to go to our website (customer facing) to check inventory stock levels. Seems like it would be easy to add it to the order entry page in Miva admin.

No ETA but record-response time...that's not bad! Okay - well, we are anxiously awaiting but I also know that you are always open to listening to customers and users, so thank you for the great customer service in that way!

Rick - any update on the ETA of this? I looked for it in the last release but it's not there yet...

+1 for this. I made a similar post for an update to the order entry screen http://extranet.mivamerchant.com/for...120#post390120. Hopefully Miva is listening and will have a solution/update soon.

    Hello-

When my staff takes online orders, it is very difficult and time-consuming to check the actual inventory to see if an item is in-stock. Much like Quickbooks, it would be nice to have a button that would allow for you to see the actual inventory upon adding a product to an order. That way, the customer can be informed immediately if it is in stock.

    Thanks for listening!
Working...
