Inventory Kit Builder with attribute quantities

I would really love to see the ability to create a Master Product with Attributes that can use the Inventory Kit Builder and have the ability to have attribute quantities. The current methods are cludgy and messy. There isn't an easy was to edit the quantities or go back and edit the attributes. I feel that using a Master Product is the only way to keep the keep all the items neatly grouped together to help the store owner put all the correct items together and to get a more accurate shipping rate for the final "kit".

I bring this to the table because how my struggles trying to configure a custom gift basket that needs multiple attributes including the gift card message, delivery date, type of basket and the items for the gift basket. I would truly like to have a better way to do this http://www.dutchbaskets.com/product/custom-basket.html (this product is using multi_product_attributes item from the EmporiumPlus Toolkit http://www.emporiumplus.com/v5/tk_prod_quan.txt).

The customer should only be able to select 1 basket - it would be really nice if the basket product image could swap out to display the one selected.

When the customer added the item to the cart, they need to have the ability to go back to the Master Product and make adjustments (currently they can but there is no way to insure the item will be "tied" to the gift basket created).

As a bonus - it would be really nice to have some sort of floating mini-basket that will help the customer informed as to what has already been added.

Super bonus - make the customer aware that they have reached the maximum amount of items the basket selected can hold.
