It would be very useful if a field were provided in the Google Shopping set up options on products for shipping_label.
This is the field that is used in Google Merchant Center to distinguish between shipping options that are available on a product, and it will allow the use of different shipping rate tables there. Without it, only one shipping rate table is able to be used and if a product does not fall into the parameters for that method (e.g., too heavy for first class postage), Merchant Center will throw an error on the product.
You can create additional tables in Merchant Center, but all products default to the lowest cost method. Without this field on the product feed, Merchant Center has no way of knowing which shipping rate table to apply to the product and will always apply the default--even if it's not appropriate for that specific product.
