Customizable Gift Sets

HI,
We would like to set up a system where a customer can create a customizable "gift set". We have 10 soap products and want to make it so the customer can select 5 of them for a "gift set".
Any ideas how we go about this?

If each soap product is tracking inventory I think what you are looking for is the inventory kit builder functionality in Miva, here is a link to more information:

Is this document for Miva 10? Some of the steps don't gel with what I'm seeing. It says "" If your kit has no options that the customer can select, use the Catalog > Edit Product > Inventory Variants Tab." But when I go to that tab, there is no content to display, and no way to create one.
In this scenario, I don't have options I need to display. So I don't need to create Attributes.
For the sake of this exercise, I tried following the steps indicated to the letter, but there is no way to create options as described in this doc.
I'm trying to create a gift set that someone can select the type and quantity of soaps that they want. The price will change accordingly.
