Not fun learning to use admin again

    Hello forum:
Has Miva provided any documentation to help relearn the admin feature.
Made a change to a template that I want to back out.
Seems elemental but I don'r see anyway to do it.

Also don't see any tool tips on the icons.

    HELP.

Larry, if you click on the hamburger icon in the bottom right of the template editor you want to revert, you can click "View Version History" this will show the previous versions of the template, which you can recall and update.

      Hi Kocourek;
Thanks for the reply but I see no hamburger icon at the bottom right when editing my template.
My comment is: What was wrong with keeping this feature obvious?
Seems to be a step backwards especially since it isn't even on the page.
I hate these releases. They serve no purpose for us.
We haven't even received any information about what they contain and how they would help us.

While i admit that the new interface has a few stumbling blocks, to say there's nothing in for us means you haven't read this:

        https://docs.miva.com/miva10/reference-guide/

The new versioning system alone is worth the effort.

          Hey, I found the hamburger.
On my 27 inch monitor it is off the right side of the page. I have to set my browser (Edge) to an 80% Zoom to have it show while I edit.
80% Zoom is not good for ancient eyes like mine.
I usually need to be at 125% zoom for editing on Miva.
Oh well, on to the next hurdle..
Really loving this new admin ;(

Now where are the previous versions of a template and how can I restore back to one of them?
Thanks for any help I can get on this!

I find it difficult to remember to add notes.

You should probably use Ryan Guisewite's suggestion and remove editor width preferences:
"Also, your really wide editor sounds like you have a saved preference that has pushed the editor out really far. Edit your user and open the Preferences dialog. Using advanced search, set the Preference Name filter to "Like" and set the VALUE to %MMTextEditor.%width then click Search. Delete any matching preferences. Return to the OCST page and see if your editor is normal sized now."

As long as your monitor resolution is at least 1920x1080, you shouldn't have any issues zooming to 125% – should still see the update buttons etc. Should look like this (w/o dark theme)

                    jumping on this ticket...

how do you edit the tab display order like we used to be able to do?
EX: pages like PROD I always moved custom fields and inventory tabs to be 2 and 3rd position instead of in the ... menu.

Click and hold on a specific tab. A loading icon will appear followed by the "Edit Tab Display Order" popup.

Haha, I was super frustrated trying to figure it out myself! Anyway, it's touched upon in the reference guide "Re-Order tabs using long click". https://docs.miva.com/miva10/reference-guide/

Updated another of our sites to rel 10.
Once again I cannot find the way to set my template editor to not overflow my screen.
Overflows to right and requires right scrolling to see entire text line.
Tried the approach given me above but cannot solve this problem.

                            Need help,

                              Larry,

Since this seems unique to your setup, I’d recommend contacting support, otherwise it might be a few days for Dev to reply due to the holiday and other work.
                              Thanks,
