For years on end, I have been assigning Attribute Templates to products as I build them. I know how to go in, choose the template, then click Copy or Link. I know the extreme value of using Link (which allows you to make an edit to the Attribute Template which will automatically globally update to all products it is assigned to when saved).
Color me embarrassed that I have just recently learned of the most invaluable ability to assign an Attribute Template right from the Edit Attribute Template screen.
This leads to a most important question when using this function - does the Attribute Template get copied or linked to the product? (I do not want to assume anything here but I think it's linking the template)
I'm curious, why isn't the ability to select Copy or Link available at this screen?
Also, is there documentation on this feature?
