We have been trying to fix this issue for months. I had searched the message boards and found an old thread that we thought held the solution.
We reached out to our mail admin and asked them to adjust the settings.
However the issue has persisted and we have several customers calling or messaging each day concerned about the error, not to mention how many customers likely just ignore it.
When a customer places an order they get a confirmation e-mail, and in the e-mail it has the 5.1.1 error message saying that one or more notification e-mails could not be sent at this time. Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table.
Is the issue with Miva or is it still an issue with the mail admin?
