Scroll to the right on the blended search page when tuning the index of choice and you should see the option (https://app.screencast.com/GsIG0GeSx3hme).

    Mark,

Software is aware of this and the error will go away if you also enable Sort By Relevance on the blended search screen. So far I believe it is only presented when you enable Attribute Code, Attribute Prompt, Option Code and/or Option Prompt without having Sort By Relevance enabled as well.

Colors for us are for the most part seasonal and may never return.

Food for thought. What if that swatch/color is highly popular? If they don't see the swatch are they as likely to go to your product page or somenwhere else?

If the swatch/color is restocked often, it might be better to still show it and use the waitlist module on PROD to conditionally show the waitlist Sign Up form so they can be notified via email when it is back in stock. This seems particularly helpful for stores that already have or are trying to build a loyal customer base.

Nick , it would be great to have an optional (slider button) waitlist feature incorporated into the mmx-product-details flex component in pagebuilder. Google recaptcha v3 integration as well as having control over when to show the waitlist form would be a plus. Maybe a global setting with the option to control at the product or variant level or something along those lines.

I personally feel this has always needed work even since we first got the ability to generate variants which was pretty game changing for us. 2011 sound right for the attribute machine being created?

I combed through lots of the current agency partners list "our work" sections. I could not find any of them displaying a scenario where multiple colors of a product were displayed on anything other than the product page. It's obviously a huge feature for apparel & footwear stores. Getting the colors to display is step one and maybe customers could even swap it there if they wanted. I think sizing could probably get closer with the use of facets however that would also require the variant data to check inventory otherwise it will still show that product if you're out of stock in that size combination?

For us it's undertaking because of the size of our catalog and having a range say shoes for instance that have six colors that come in sizing and four different widths etc. Thank god we got the ability to add an image to attribute level and have it applied to the variants!

Even if I was able to find a clothing store example I could only assume it was not done with page builder. My work around has always been to load a css hidden version of attributes and ctgy_image_machine to the ctgy. srch etc. pages however that also causes some slow loading pages.

Because of this stumbling block I have not dived into the product page very much but right out of the gate it doesn't seem you can put the reviews by Tess module into one. I assum this means doing a work around so the old tab way will still work but that should be pretty simple...

I think I can maybe understand why quick view went away, but the swatch-swap for at least colors needs to come back. I do find myself a bit confused when Amazon shows me a bunch of colors, then I get taken to the product, and it's not available in a size I'm looking for. That makes me wonder if it's just that darn complex to pull off or if Amazon doesn't really care.

Okay, this is really wild because you are not the only developer who has recently (recently) asked me about the CTGY page swatch swap to include the correct inventory to be able to order from the CTGY. I'm thinking if there are 3 of us out here doing or trying to do it, maybe it needs to be considered. I had first done just the simple swatch swap using the Luxe snippets. Then I incorporated into Colsossus (unfortunately don't have access to that code anymore). I really do think this is a "must have" feature.

I wasn't trying to sound ungrateful and really appreciate the snippet of free code. You're absolutely correct that I clearly didn't know how to phrase the question correctly to get the right answer. I am however surprised that this is still a custom feature taking me back to my initial post and wondering how other folks handle this?

Mark Hood yes all that is possible. The code that was given in the ticket was a starting point and does what was asked initially, "show swatches on CTGY using product list component". With the starting point that was given to you, adding checks for inventory is not a large task for a developer, IMO.

Welp, I got my response which says I need to add more code to the snippet that can check the specific variant or attribute combination for above zero. They also recommended I hire a web developer and name dropped you Leslie :) plus gave the link to the list of agency partners.

They gave us a cool gift of code through that ticket that works & shows swatches however it does not take inventory into account so it shows all say 30 colors of a product despite current inventory where we may only have two. We of course only want it to show if we have at least one of those colors in stock and hide the rest of them which I think is currently being controlled by the category_listing_imagemachine

    Possible?
