Hello.

I am trying to implement the Mailchimp checkbox on the OCST page. I've put the token on the page, and the checkbox/text show up. However, no subscription is getting through to our Mailchimp list after checking out.

Here is the Checkbox HTML that is being placed by the token:

I can't figure out why it's not working. I've assigned the module to every page available since it is also in our global footer.

Any ideas?

Just an educated guess, rcm1234... did you put a <div style="display: none;"> around the form? Colorbox says its contents should go inside a <div> like that.

Hi,

Is it possible to have the MailChimp sign up form in a Colorbox pop-up window on a Miva merchant page?

I've got the Colorbox pop-up working and showing the MailChimp sign up form etc. perfectly (*I put this part in the page header).

I have added this item correctly in my page header where I want it to appear inside the Colorbox pop-up -->
<mvt:item name="mailchimp" param="textbox" />

Also, does anything extra need to be done to ensure the MailChimp module will work from a Colorbox pop-up?
i.e. will it capture the email addresses correctly etc.?

Not currently. We may add a setting to enable it in the future.

Mailchimp does not seem to offer the Double Opt-In when using the module. Is there a way to enable it?

Hi Brennan,

The updated module lets you enter the new longer API key, but isn't passing it through the API call. I get this error on the OSCT when selecting the checkbox.

Invalid MailChimp API Key:

I PM'd the full information.

FYI to everyone - The module needed to be updated to use Mail Chimps new formatting of List IDs going forward.

Before I posted I removed a period from the list name just in case, but that didn't help. Currently just text and a space.

Does Mail Chimp block API access to non paying users? I am in the process of moving our list over and haven't subscribed yet.

There may something is your list name that is prohibiting it from displaying. Can you Private Message me Miva admin access and I can login and take a look?

Bringing this thread back from the dead since I am always behind the times....

I installed the module and added my API key. But my list doesn't not show in the drop down. I refreshed the tab, went to another admin area and came back, logged out and back in. Nothing.

Can I just edit this

    var list_id = '&mvte:mailchimp:list_id;';

and put in our List ID from the Mail Chimp admin?

Yes, the mailchimp integration for Miva currently supports ecommerce 360 for tracking

Every order will send the ecommerce data up to mailchimp. For anyone who is subscribed to your mailing list, MailChimp will let you create advanced filters based on their past purchase history.

Does Miva Merchant currently integrate with Mailchimp's ecommerce360? Couldn't get a real feel for this from reading the thread.
