Problem with PayPal Website Payments Pro and phone numbers

I just switch to PayPal Website Payments Pro after having some issues with Wieland’s Payment via PayPal-R not completing orders. Wieland’s module has worked great for years, but for some reason PayPal stopped sending the information back to miva to complete the orders. Not having time to trouble shoot the issue during this busy time of the year I installed PayPal Website Payments Pro. It was a snap to install and seemed to be working in a few minutes. The issue I'm seeing is all my PayPal orders seem to lose the phone numbers. My customer say they enter the phone numbers, but they are not in Miva after the order is completed. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm using the the module that came with MIVA 5, I think is was just added by miva in one of the recent updates.

My miva stats:
Production Release 4
Miva Merchant Engine v5.06
Database API: mysql

This has nothing to do with the module. It is a setting within PayPal.

Log into your PayPal account, and under "My Account" click on "Profile". In the third column, click on Website Payment Preferences.

Towards the bottom of the screen will be an option for Contact Telephone Number. It is defaulted to 'Off', and also recommends leaving it as off. Per their "Learn More" link:

PayPal provides merchants with the buyer Contact Telephone Number as an optional feature. In accordance with our User Agreement, merchants may only use this Contact Telephone Number to communicate with the buyer about the related purchase. This number may not be used for unsolicited commercial messages.

Merchants can choose to make the Contact Telephone Number optional, required, or turn it off. Off is the recommended default option because buyers value their privacy and prefer to keep unsolicited communications to a minimum.

Is there some documentation for this built in module. We are having trouble configuring it.

It is set to certificate, production, enabled. After failure
we have gone into paypal and set a return url as
http://www.thewebsite.com/mm5/5.00/m.../paypalpro.mvc
for both the ipn and the website payments return url.
That was just a guess

The problem is
Unable to authorize payment: This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration. (10501)

There must be some way to configure all the various settings needed to run this, but no help docs. Please assist.

You either did not start, or did not complete the Web Site Payments pro application process.

Or - you have received virtual terminal use only.

Hi Bill, I just bought your mod with the same result. So you are saying that it is the application or virtual either way. Right?
Hmmm, I'll look into that as I'm beside myself on this one.
