    UPS is not displaying rates

    We have not changed anything in our store but for some reason UPS is not returning any rates today. Are other people having this problem?

    We're investigating now. UPS is currently running a new SSL certificate on their rate/API server dated October 31, and they switched from what I believe was Symantec to Comodo, it appears last night.

        We've experienced the same issue with several stores. The last good interaction we had with the UPS API was shortly after 7:00am e.s.t.

          The issue has been identified and a fix is going out to all of our servers now; expected resolution should be in the next five minutes for all sites hosted by Miva directly.

          In our software, we must create explicit trusts for the certificate authorities, and it appears UPS switched to a new SSL certificate for their site last night, one which uses a new issuing authority within Comodo which we had not previously encountered. The result is our software not establishing the 'trust' for the issuer of UPS' new certificate. The appropriate trust certificates are being copied to all servers now. Unfortunately UPS didn't make any announcements of this change so we didn't have the opportunity to test. In contrast, payment gateways often announce SSL changes they intend to make months in advance.

          For anyone encountering this thread who is not hosted by us, such as self-hosted and third party hosts, I've added an article where you can download the relevant cert files and install them to your certificate store:

            We use the VC UPS module. Will this need to be fixed by VC or will Miva's resolution restore functionality for their module as well? Just need to know if a ticket should be opened with them.

              This should fix it for the VC module as well; they're doing an MvCALL using our software.
