    PoBox prevention

When disabling shipping to a PoBox Miva throws a fatal error. What's the best way to provide a message and not display the Fatal Error message? I used a JavaScript a long time ago and Ray had a preaction script but I hoped there is an easier way now :) Thanks for your replies.

What shipping SHOULD be required? If its none...then I don't think there is an 'easy' way. You could try using some jQuery libs to test for PO box like addresses and message back on the OCST screen, or setup a Flat Rate shipping method (allowing PO boxes to capture it...but that would let them them checkout.)

So, need more info to help out/.

      Thanks Bruce!
PoBox should just display an error message on the OCST or OSEL that no shipping to POBox allowed. This way customers could change the address to a regular one, Right now it looks like Miva is broken :))

I've written a few modules for this. Every store owner seems to have a different set of criteria for deciding what addresses to block, in order to prevent people from sneaking around your restriction by using odd spelling or punctuation. If you can't find a quicker solution, you can email me to get one of these for your store. But the fatal-error thing seems weird; it's very rare for the store to show one of those. I would contact Miva and get that fixed first.
