I'm trying to figure out where all the bandwidth is going on a site. When I looked at the web stats - the clientside.mvc is at the top of the list using 36-37% every month. The site is using an older CSSUI Template. I was thinking there might be large image files or something but everything else is looking "average". The Data Transfer Statistics show that it's 99.9% HTTP. Maybe I'm reading something wrong - I see16030229 KB in the monthly summary but the monthly bandwidth is exceeding 50GB. There is a dev site which is taking up disk space but doesn't have any traffic. Could it really be using that much bandwidth even though it's idle?

How much content clientside.mvc serves is entirely site specific, as it is dependent on what JS/CSS has been configured in the admin, what pages are being hit if the content differs by page, etc. This overall topic is not something that can be resolved via a forum post, every site differs on traffic served due to content, http/https ratio, etc. A dev site would normally have next to no traffic, just disk space, unless it was left unprotected and someone with a browser plugin submitted it to be search engine crawled. I'd recommend opening a ticket to investigate the traffic specifics of the site in question if it's consuming more than expected.
