Shipping Estimator for non-ReadyTheme store?

Hi, I'm trying to add a Shipping Estimator to the BASK page on an older store that doesn't use a ReadyTheme. The client needs to use Miva's own "shipestimate" component, not the one from Toolkit. Has anyone done this? I haven't been able to find any information on it, and the ReadyTheme implementation seems to use a lot of Javascript and CSS that makes it hard to work with.
