Baskets table crashed

Getting this error in front end -
Error Code:MER-DBP-BSK-00001
Description:mysql_stmt_prepare: Table './sensational_mm5/s01_Baskets' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Also tried to delete expired baskets in back end, and get the same error.

Packing the store while in maintenance mode may correct it, otherwise the table would need to be repaired (or truncated) at the database level.
