Miva Merchant, a leading provider of ecommerce shopping cart solutions, announced this week that an updated version of the Google Analytics Miva Merchant 5.5 module is now available as a free download.
The Google Analytics Miva Merchant 5.5 module, which allows for automatic ecommerce conversion tracking, on-site search tracking, URL structure overrides and other functionalities, was developed by e-business consulting firm Kemper Strategic.
“I am very pleased to be able to finally offer this module to the Miva Merchant community at no charge,” says Dan Daron, Owner of Kemper Strategic. “Although it is now being offered for free, development of features and new support for this module will still continue.”
“We’ve offered a free module for Google Analytics for the past three years,” says Rick Wilson President and COO of Miva Merchant. “However, as Google Analytics has consistently updated their product and added newer and more robust features, the previous offering was no longer properly serving our shopping cart customer’s needs.”
“Instead of re-inventing the wheel;” adds Wilson, “we reached out to Dan at Kemper Strategic and arranged with him to provide this module to our clients for free, while still guaranteeing it stays up to date with changes from Google Analytics.”
For online merchants, the ability to track and monitor site visitors, conversions, and setup goals on their ecommerce sites is crucial to success. For many of these same merchants, however, doing so manually can be a challenging, if not impossible task.
